TechSecureStore (TSS) is a fully managed Disaster Recovery (DR) and Data Backup Service. It provides real-time high availability, short time scale disaster recovery and fully managed remote backup and recovery of mission critical data.
Disaster Recovery Planning is crucial if your business is dependant on IT.
How will unplanned downtime or service time affect your business?
There are three important questions every business without an organised Disaster Recovery Plan needs to ask itself:
How long will it take the IT Department to recover if a critical server goes down?
How much data can we afford to lose if a critical server goes down before its data is backed up?
How much will IT downtime cost the business?
If you can answer all of the above, and have DR in place,Well Done!
If not, it's worth your time speaking to Techms about our Managed Disaster Recovery solution, TechSecureStore which can provide your business in the event of IT downtime with a known Time-To-Recovery, and most importantly a Recovery Point, provide your users with a web login to access critical business applications and is targetted at the SME market.
What is Time-To-Recovery?
It's the length of time your business will take to recover from a particular disaster. In IT context it means knowing if your Email Services goes down, you know how long the IT department will take to resume the service.
What is a Recovery Point?
Any interruption in IT services has the potential to cause a loss of data. This means, if your business experiences IT service interruption caused by the failure of critical File or Application Servers, the data on those servers could be under threat or at worst lost due to human error, fire, flood etc.
Having a known Recovery Point sets a Service Level when downtime occurs and in the case of your data, allows you know to what point the data will have been saved, e.g. if you back up your data daily, there's a risk you could lose a whole day's work, alternatively, if you back up every hour, there's only a potential 1 hour loss of data.
