A comprehensive support, monitoring and management service for your NetApp infrastructure.

NetApp Filers are key to the success of your business and integrity of your data.  All your databases, documents and e-mail can be stored on these Filers and any disruption or failure of this platform will have a major impact on your organisation’s ability to conduct business.

In recognition of the critical role that these devices can play, Teksys has designed a unique support solution to optimise the management and operation of NetApp Filers.  As a bespoke option within the Premier Support service, Teksys can provide comprehensive monitoring, support and management of all aspects of your NetAppinfrastructure.

Managed NetApp Services
Under the Teksys Managed Services portfolio, our NetApp Management services can be used to augment your existing in-house resources or act as expert outsourced skills.  The aim is to make NetApp the best managed storage platform and our experience as a NetApp Platinum Partner enables us to provide expert management services such as:

  • Daily NetApp Filer Checks
    - Global status
    - Volumes – available space
    - NetApp Filer level snapshots
    - Exchange snapshots
    - SQL snapshots
    - Snap-Mirrors (Filer and Co-Locations)
    - NetApp Filer AV engine
  • Daily email containing status report
  • Volume trend analysis
  • Bi-annual or quarterly storage availability audit
  • Engineering support for emergency disk or hardware replacement

Costs

NetApp management services are priced as part of your Premier Support contact and will vary according to the service modules required and the number of Filers being supported.  Premier Support is a hourly “consumption-based” service therefore the pre-allocated hours can be used at any stage – in small increments via the daily checks (approx 15 minutes per day), or in larger blocks by utilising on-site service days for planned support events or system upgrades.  (See contract example in box on right above).
